Missoula sits at the confluence of the Blackfoot, Bitterroot, Clark Fork, and Rock Creek, some of the finest wild trout water in the West. Two hours up the road, the Missouri tailwater rounds out five rivers worth fishing. Our guides fish all of them year-round and know every run, every hatch, and every back channel worth floating.
We run no more than six boats a day. That limit is intentional. Keeping the whole operation small matters more to us than running dozens of boats, so every angler who books with us gets a fully prepared guide and our full attention on the water.

Your guide picks the right water for your dates and what you want out of the day. Missoula Fly Fishing Trips is the guide service of the Missoulian Angler Fly Shop, Missoula’s oldest fly shop.
Six Boats Maximum
We cap at six guided trips per day. Staying small means every client gets a fully prepared, fully focused guide, and we never spread the operation thin.
Everything Included
Guide, drift boat or raft, all tackle and flies, food on the water. Show up with a license and some layers. We handle the rest.

$150 Refundable Deposit
Your date is held with a $150 deposit, fully refundable if you cancel 30 or more days before your trip. Book early without the risk.
Seven Days a Week
We run trips every day of the week, all season. Weekdays, weekends, holidays. The rivers don’t take days off, and neither do we.
