Group Fly Fishing Trips in Missoula
A day on the water in western Montana is a different kind of group experience. No conference room, no slideshow, no name tags. Just a few boats on a good river with guides who know what they’re doing. People talk about these days for a long time.
We run group and corporate fly fishing trips out of Missoula for teams, companies, client entertainment, and private parties. If you have a group of people who deserve a day on a Montana trout river, we can make that happen.
How Group Trips Work
Each boat fits one or two anglers with their own guide. Groups larger than three get multiple boats, each with their own guide. We cap the whole operation at six boats a day, which means even a large group gets a private, unhurried feel on the water. Nobody gets shuffled off with a less experienced guide or rushed through the day.
No fly fishing experience needed. A lot of corporate groups include people who have never picked up a fly rod. Our guides are good at getting beginners into fish quickly and making sure everyone in the boat has a good time regardless of their skill level. If some members of your group are experienced anglers and others aren’t, that works too.
What’s Included
All gear is provided. Fly rods, reels, flies, everything you need to fish. Full day trips include a streamside lunch and snacks and drinks throughout the day. We handle transportation to and from the river. You show up ready to go and we take care of the rest.
The Setting
Western Montana is one of the best places in the country to spend a day outdoors. The rivers around Missoula run through mountain valleys with views that don’t look real. Even people who aren’t particularly interested in fishing usually leave converted. It’s the kind of place that’s hard to describe until you’ve been there.
We fish the Bitterroot, Blackfoot, Clark Fork, Rock Creek, and the Missouri River near Craig. The right river for your group depends on the time of year and what kind of day you’re after. We’ll help you pick the best option when you reach out.
